Let's face it. Wedding planning can be tough. There's big decisions like the budget, venue, wedding party... plus the "minor" decisions- it really adds up. The biggest headache for me has been wedding stationary. I'm indecisive and a perfectionist, not the best combinations for choosing stationary.
3 Reasons why I created my own wedding invitation suite
1. Too many options
Anybody else shocked at how many options there are for wedding invitations? I finally narrowed it down to a few styles and then I realized I had about 25 color options to choose from. It was ridiculous!
2. The options weren't the perfect match
I scrolled and scrolled looking at all of the options. I went to three different websites, and nothing quite jumped out at me.I finally decided I didn't LOVE any of the styles I could find, so I got onto my adobe illustrator and made my own. I couldn't justify $500 of something I didn't love.
3. They are EXPENSIVEWow! I picked out a few designs I sort of liked, and it was upwards of about $700 to get all the pieces I wanted into the invitation. I can't justify that into the wedding budget for paper goods
Now this is a rough draft, but I'm finally starting to get excited about the stationary. And I can get the whole suite for under $200! #budgetwin
Here is what I have so far... & I would love your input!

Did you buy invitations? If so from what company, or calligrapher? If you decided to design your own, what was your biggest reason?
I love to read your thoughts in the comments section! Have a great week :)
