Friday Favorites: Trip to Raleigh Edition

Happy Friday!

! I'm back with Friday Favorites and I'm linking up with some of my favorite people:
Andrea, Erika &Narci to share my

Favorite things from this week!

This past weekend was such a favorite, I'm featuring it today!

ONE

On Friday, Zack's sister attended her Senior Prom. She looked beautiful, the picture of the dress doesn't do it justice :)

TWO

On Saturday, we headed to Raleigh for a wedding. Now, I wouldn't miss the chance to stop and shop. As you can see, Zack wasn't amused. He did however, fall in love with this couch from Macy's

THREE

On Saturday night, Erin & her roommate took us to dinner at Beasley's. It was fabulous!! The fried chicken has a honey glaze, and it wasn't soggy but still perfectly crispy. If you stop into Raleigh, NC make sure you eat here! Apparently, the NY times and Southern Living agrees ;) See their reviews here

I wish I would have remembered to take a picture of my plate :(  #bloggerfail

On Sunday morning, Erin took us to Big Ed's City Market. It felt like we were back in rural NC eating instead of being in the middle of downtown Raleigh. I ordered the hot cakes thinking it would be the perfect size...Nope!
I could only eat the bottom below the bacon and Zack finished the rest. #bigguyprobs

FOUR

Sunday afternoon, we made our way to the Preston Woodall House for a wedding in Benson, NC. We had the best time celebrating my friend, Samantha.

Monday we made our way back home, and celebrated my family friend's birthday. I wouldn't miss out on Andrea's Shrimp-n-grits for the life of me :)
