Friday Favorites: Short & Sweet

Happy Friday, friends!

This week felt like someone had pushed fast forward. I had a midterm on motor speech disorders (think brain and muscles for speech) and so all I did was study. Well that and make lesson plans and go to other classes. When I'm busy it goes by quicker!

I am linking up with Andrea, Erika &Narci to share my

Friday Favorites!

First up, I am working on a nail polish review, and these are on my list.
BUT I want to know if you have any must haves I can add??

I shared my hometown this week here and  it was so great to see where people in "my" blogger community live.
Asheville has my heart, but I currently have a travel bug! :)

On Saturday morning, I was drinking coffee with my dad and watching tv. Next thing you know, Asheville is on CBS for one of the top 5 places to travel (safely) alone!
Dad and I did a double take, and had to rewind it to make sure!
It joined the list of Bali, Montreal, Seattle, a city in Germany that I can't remember the name of.

So if you watched the video, you saw the beautiful Biltmore Estate!
We were given tickets by our sweet neighbors, and Zack & I played tourists on Sunday. It was a beautiful day & a great way to get our minds of school for a bit.
If you are ever in Asheville for a day, stop by the  Biltmore Estate!

My favorite thing about this weekend? It's the last one before Spring Break!

I am also planning to clean out my closets and get my Spring clothes moved back upstairs and donate all the things I don't need.

Have a great weekend! I can't wait to see your favorites from this week!

  1. How stinking cool that your town was on the list to visit! Especially right after blogging about it. PS...I totally am with you on the studying this. Thank goodness it's spring break and I don't have to think about school for a week!

  2. Love those nail polish colors!! And that's awesome that your town is one of the safest places to visit. I have always wanted to visit Asheville!

Hope you have a great weekend!

  3. I've always wanted to visit Asheville! Especially the Biltmore at Christmas--love that you live in such a great city that offers so much! Have a great weekend!
