Friday Favorites: Cozy Edition

Happy Friday!

7 weeks until Christmas!
I promise I am not one of those people who skip over Thanksgiving, because it's a favorite too. I am especially excited for Christmas this year because it means I have a whole MONTH off from grad school. And you better believe I am going to soak up every minute of it.
In the spirit of a "break" I am going to share my favorite "cozy" pieces.

Of course, I can't forget to mention that I am linking up with my favorite bloggers: AndreaErika & Narci.

I built this collage to pull all my "cozy" thoughts together :)
When I look at this picture, I want to snuggle up on the couch and watch netflix.

Shop the look for yourself:

Ralph Lauren Plaid  Pajamas • $69
Yankee Candle Holiday  • $21.99
UGG  Slipper • $120
 'Yay! It's Christmas' Mug • $12
'But First Coffee' Mug • $24
Plaid Flannel Pajama Pants • $27.65

ONE.

Slippers.
They are  probably the most important piece of clothing I own in the winter.
My feet get so cold (thanks diabetes #not) & I switch into slippers as soon as I walk in the door..
I have a few favorites, but I am so close to justifying a pair of ugg slippers from Nordstrom Rack... Do you have any absolute favorite slippers?

Check them out here:

TWO.

Flannel Pajamas.
We always get pajamas for Christmas and I'm loving the flannel pajamas. The plaid just screams cozy. I am just discovering that Victoria secret has lengths in their pajamas and it makes this tall girl's heart happy!
This pair is on my wish list:

Victoria's Secret The Dreamer Pajamas

I love all the different patterns!

THREE.

Blardigan/ Barefoot Dreams.
I am now the proud owner of three blardigans (term copyrighted by Shaeffer ;)
I bought two during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale because the price never goes down except for the anniversary sale.

I wear them to class, and around the house when I need a hug in sweater form.
They are pricey but if you consider cost per wear, I'm pretty sure it averages out to pennies per day!
I always have coffee going this time of year. It helps keep me warm & helps with finals tremendously. Hazelnut creamer is a favorite too.
When I get burnt out on coffee, I switch to tea. Tazo energy is my very favorite.

FIVE.

Candles.
I just recently became a candle person. I have one burning all the time in my apartment when I'm home. Bath and body works has had some really great sales that I've picked up 4 three-wick candles for less than $30!
Yankee candle still has my favorite Christmas smells!

Thanks for reading about my favorite cozy things!
It's the last weekend of regular season football for Zack, and we are planning a date night to the bond movie!
Have a great one friends!

  1. Giiiirl I have a mild obsession with blardigan. I'm guilty of owning one regular one and the new baby one! I'm so glad there are others out there that understands the wonderfulness that is the blardigan! Have a great weekend!

  3. I'm so jealous of your break from grad school. I still have a month to go before I get a break and I'm counting down the days! Love your list of things! I have seen so many people talk about the blardigan that I should just break down and buy one! And I saw you were a diabetic--my husband has been a Type I since he was 4. I really hate diabetes!

    1. The blardigans are worth it! I waited for the anniversary sale prices though! I sure hate diabetes also! I was only diagnosed at 20, which is a little older than most with Type 1, and it rocked my world! Is he on the pump or does he do shots?
