Friday Favorites

Long weekends are nice, but short weeks... not so much! I have been packing my days full trying to make up for my day off on Monday.

Today I am linking up to share my Friday Favorites with Andrea, Erika & Narci

September 11th is Patriot Day! I will never forget that day, and I am forever grateful for our nation who stood united in amidst chaos.
We linked up to share our Sept. 11th memories here

Clinic! I love that all the stuff I have learned in classes is finally coming to fruition. It's a little scary, yes, but my supervisors have been there for me every step.
I am having to get creative on my therapy games... My brain is exhausted!
Any fun game ideas for preschoolers are definitely welcome :)

Back in May I posted about my favorite hair products. I have loved & I mean loved my Miss Jessie's Pillow Soft curls... (To see my whole review, click here)

But I feel like it's not working as well in this humidity. It feels like I have a lion's mane big... Anyways I want a product I can put into my hair before bed to make it more manageable in the morning.
One of my favorite bloggers, Shay mentioned she uses Living Proof Night Cap. I love the concept, but hate when I spend money on a product and don't love it, ya know?

I went and looked on the website (here) and saw that it has a 3.6 stars out of 5.

Have any of you ever tried the Living Proof Night Cap?
I am a little nervous to spend the money with out hearing a few personal reviews... if you could let me know that would be great!

TGIT is almost back! YAY!!! I watch Shonda Rimes shows almost religiously. I have been eagerly anticipating the Fall Premiere. What's even more exciting? It starts back after my first round of tests... It's like ABC is sending me my own "you go girl" present ;)

Fall is just around the corner!
I am so excited , I even looked at a color map! (A color map shows when the peak time is for the best leave color)
The first 2 weeks of October look to be the peak! YAY!

Thank you for reading! This weekend I'll be hiding in the books in preparation for my first round of exams.
Enjoy your weekend!

  1. I'm so excited for the leaves to start changing colors! Happy Friday! :)

  2. I hope you still have a good weekend even if you're still in the books! Cannot wait for Greys to come back on! But I just started Scandal on Nerflix so I need that to slow down so I can catch up haha!

  3. I have never heard of a color map. That sounds awesome! I'm excited for Once Upon a Time to come back. It's never been as good as the first season, but now I'm hooked and I can't seem to stop lol.

    1. Btw, I love your site colors and design :D

  4. I really want to pick up watching Grey's Anatomy where I left off! Ahh I'm glad the first two weeks of October are the best for leaf colors! I never knew that, but I did always feel like October was best!

  5. I'm so excited for the leaves to start changing too! Ahh!

  6. Never heard about Nightcap, but if it's good I need it in my life right now! I am excited for the Blacklist to start back up, BEST show evaaar!!! And of course the cooler temperatures and crisp air are so welcomed!

  7. I'm so excited for fall too! It's my favorite time of year! Good thing to know about the first two weeks of October :)

  8. Hey Caitlin! This is my first time visiting your blog and I must say I love the layout and colors. I am also in grad school right now for clinical mental health counseling and I want to work with kids after I graduate. Props to you for keeping up on your blog while in grad school. I know how hard it can be at times. I also saw that you were diagnosed with diabetes. If you have time, I would love for you to check out my blog. I post a bunch of healthy recipes:

    xoxo Tori
P.S. I am totally going to have to look at that color map! I love fall!

Thanks for reading, I would love for you to share your thoughts :)
