Welcome to my Apartment!
Today, I am sharing my "new" home. Decorating has been a painfully slow process, but it's getting there. I can't wait to officially break out the Fall decorations tomorrow. I noticed there is a little color on the mountains as I drove back home today.
I live in a 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment on the 4th floor. Thank goodness my apartment came furnished!
I want to talk kitchen & living room next time when I have my full blown Fall decorations out, so today I am just going to share a sneak peek.
My roommate had a lot of the home decor in her old apartment & we thought it went well with our new one!
I have been working on my room this week, my parents so kindly bought (& carried up 4 flights) a new-to-me desk. I can't wait to get crafty & paint it with Annie Sloan. My room has been turned upside down, but here are a few of my favorite details.
I have big plans to add a picture to this frame, but grad-school ;)
My bathroom theme got started from this beautiful print by Yay Prints. Courtney's work is so beautiful. I fell in love with this beach print, and knew I wanted it to remind me of Summer. It can get pretty cold & dreary in the winter, so I thought this would be a great pick me up!
Courtney's prints are inspired for her daughter, she wants her to see the beauty of this world. If you look around her Etsy shop, you will notice that her prints are very positive & light. I love this about them.
I picked up the shadow boxes when I was in Nags Head. I have straightened that starfish every time I walk by it.
"Leaves" is in my diffuser from bath & body works. The color matches my decor perfectly.
I found this woven basket at TJ Maxx & the starfish won me over.
Thanks for stopping by my humble abode.
& thanks to Courtney for my beautiful print.
