July Goals

Happy July Friends!

WOW! I can't believe we are already in July. I wish Summer would slow down, or that I could have a few more hours in the day.
This month, I have decided to share my goals. I hope this keeps me accountable through sharing about my life.

1. Finish watching the Blacklist

I want to finish the series, so I can start another. I have been procrastinating because I don't want it to end! Also, it's a little intense, and I don't like being home alone when watching! I know I'm a chicken. I feel the same way about Criminal Minds :)

2. Host a Yard Sale

I have WAY to much stuff, I need to downsize before moving into my next apartment. This will also be a great way to make some cash before I go to graduate school

3. Organize my Apartment Stuff

Speaking of heading to graduate school, my next goal is to organize all the stuff I do have, to see what I need to buy. I have been purchasing items I think I need, but they are all over the house! I need to put it together this month.

4. Turn off Social media on Vacation

This month, Zack & I are going to the beach with his family. This vacation, I want to spend quality time together without our phones or social media :)

5. Find a new book series

I love to read! I read the most in summer because I don't feel obligated to pick up a textbook.
I hope to get some reading in on vacation, and would love to find a new series!
Please feel free to leave me suggestions in the comment section!

6. Take a CPR Class

I need to be CPR certified before Grad School, so I hope to accomplish that this month. I want to get my "before school" checklist done by the end of this month!

7. Start IKEA Rast hack

I have been dying to get a new nightstand, and I am going to "DIY" the Rast dresser from Ikea into a Nightstand. Well, I mean I'm going to help Zack re-do the dresser ;)

8. Shop the Nordstrom Sale!

I have been waiting since last year to shop this Sale. I found out about it last year, right after the best items had sold out. I am ready this year for it!

9. Pray More, Love More

Lastly & most importantly, my goal this month is to pray. I feel like our country is so divided and it breaks my heart, especially since we are supposed to be celebrating our country's independence. Also, I have several unspoken prayer requests for my family & friends, in this season of life we are hurting, I also want to be mindful of my many blessings that I have been given. This month, I plan to focus on prayer. If you want to be added to my prayer list, please send me an email @ itsthegradlife@gmail.com  or comment below :)

I hope y'all have a great day!
See you back tomorrow for Friday Favorites :)

  1. Nordstrom sale is definitely on my radar! I can't wait! I don't really know about series, but my favorite easy summer reads are Jodi Picoult, Nicholas Sparks, and recently Liane Moriarty!
