Weekend Wrap Up

Weekend Re-Cap

Whew! What a weekend!

This past week, Zack and I were both on Spring break! It's always the best when we both have time off from school. We spent the majority of the week working on housekeeping things, I rearranged my room and he organized his closet. We also started House of Cards and now are ADDICTED! Holy Kevin Spacey!
Anyways. we set ourselves up for a jam packed weekend!

Friday we visited UT so I could visit their speech pathology program. You can check out my whole post on that here, but I took a bunch of pictures and these are my favorite:

We came back home and had a restful evening because Zack wanted to visit one of his coaches that now works at UNCC as the running backs coach.

Guess what time football practice is? 8 a.m. Fun Fact: Charlotte is about 2 hrs from Asheville, and I am not a morning person. I could stay home, but remember, I love to shop! LOL

I saw this and sent it to Zack when he told me what time we would need to leave!
I am definitely #2!

So off we went, and I tried not to give Zack too much grief!

I shopped while Zack went to football practice & a film session.

After that we had a lunch date at Outback!

We then headed home in time to meet up with my friends to watch Cinderella. When I get up at 5:00 in the AM for Zack, he often has to make sacrifices too. hehe
We went with several of our friends and I'll be honest, it wasn't my favorite movie!

Sunday we went to church, and grabbed a quick lunch at Bojangles's before heading to Gannon's first birthday party! I can't believe he's already 1!
Isn't he cute?

We love being his "Aunt & Uncle" :)

Hannah did such a great job with all of the decorations. She had a John Deere themed party since he loves his tractors!

Also, I know you gotta treat Mama's on their first baby's first birthday, so I ordered this cute necklace from bauble bar!
You can find it here

The "G" is for Gannon!

Also, my sweet sweet friends painted the sign for his room!

They are starting a local business and you can find them here
They are so sweet :)

They are so affordable compared to Etsy!
Please email them at

Hope you had a great weekend too!
